FISHEYE Upload

The Fisheye licence

Fisheye images are free. Download and use them for anything, commercial work included, without asking. Credit the photographer if you can; it isn't required. You may not sell an unmodified copy of an image on its own (as prints, on products, in stock libraries and the like), compile Fisheye images to build a rival collection, claim an image as your own work, use images to identify the people in them (facial recognition or similar), or imply that people or brands shown endorse anything. Some images show people, brands or property; your use may need permissions beyond copyright, and that's yours to check. Photographers keep their copyright and can still do anything they like with their own photos; posting grants this non-exclusive licence to everyone. Removal from Fisheye stops future downloads; it can't recall copies already taken. Images are provided as they are, with no warranty. This licence is governed by the law of England and Wales.

Licence version v1-2026-07-25. When you upload, you accept this licence for that image, confirm you are 18 or over and took the photograph or hold its rights, agree it can be edited and used without credit (waiving your moral rights so far as the law allows), and confirm that everyone identifiable in it consents to publication and free reuse and that nobody identifiable is under 18.

What gets approved

Photographs of angling: fish, water, people fishing, the places and kit of the sport. Every image is reviewed by a person before it appears. To be approved an image must be a photograph you took or hold the rights to, with the consent of everyone identifiable in it, showing nobody identifiable under 18, and nothing unlawful. Approval is at the moderator's discretion.

Reporting and complaints

Every image page carries a report link, and anything on this site can be challenged by email to fisheye@meticstate.co.uk or through the takedown page. Reports are reviewed by a person and valid ones are acted on quickly. Because every image is reviewed before publication, nothing appears on Fisheye without a person having looked at it first.
